千里の浜　Senri-no-hama

みなべ町の千里の浜は海の熊野古道として今も歩ける雄大な砂浜です。
アカウミカメの産卵場としても有名です。貝の王子としてたくさん歌が残っています。

A picturesque temple leads to the sprawling Senri-no-hama in Minabe, Wakayama, a coastal section of the KumanoKodo.
This beach is a well known and protected sea turtle spawning ground. It’s often empty despite its beauty.
